With regards to Facebook privacy settings, what's the difference between 'Everyone' & 'Friends of Friends'?
You have 3 options (other than customize) when creating an album.
Allowing 'Everyone' to see it Allowing 'Friends of friends' to see it And Allowing 'Friends only' to see it but the first 2 options are a bit ambiguous.....can anyone tell me the difference? Ads |

Not ambiguous at all, they mean exactly what they say they do. ~

Everyone is anyone who looks at your profile.
Friends Of Friends is anyone who's friends with any of your friends. My Twitter: http://twitter.com/grant_jacob |

'Everyone' means basically everyone that has a facebook account can see your photos.
'Friends of friends' means that people who you are friends with= their friends can see your photo albums too! Hope that was right |

For Friends of Friends:If I'm friends with my dad, HIS friend can go look at my status updates. If it's someone, let's call him Todd, who doesn't know any of my friends, then he can't look at my status updates. If you let everyone see your status updates, then Todd will be able to see your profile's statuses just fine.

Everyone means anyone can view your profile.
But with friends of friends, only your friend's friends and your friends can view your profile. |

Okay, 'Friends only' is obviously people you've added as friends.
'Friends of friends' is people who have added a friend of yours can see the photo ie. you have a friend in common. And 'Everyone' is literally everyone. If someone searches you, even if you are a complete stranger to them they will be able to see the photo, without adding you or having any friends in common with you. |

"everyone" will be everyone on the facebook database. So people from other countries can see your profile. However, "friends of friends" will be only friends of your friends (duh makes me sound stupid). Thus, anyone who you know and anyone who your friends know. Im guessing you are going too far with "friends of friends". For example, if you have a friend named joe, all of joes friend can see your profile. However, (i'm guessing this is what you're thinking) the friends of joe's friends will not be able to see your profile.
So this is a diagram of "friends of friends" i tried to make You----------friend1------friend1's friend (friend2)------friend2's friend can see----can see-----can see----------------------can't see so it stops there |
