So many ads on every internet page I open?? HELP ME GET RID.?
I use Google Chrome for the internet and it's usually very good so something I have done has made loads of advertisements pop up on the side of every website I go on? Twitter, Youtube, Facebook. It's really frustrating as it makes my computer go so slow and it's just annoying. What have I done and how do I get rid of them ASAP??????????????????? Thank you.

You almost definetely have malware (a virus). Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and run a scan.

you've got a adware/malware infection I suggest you run spyware/adware/malware scans if you don't have a malware scanner I suggest you try malwarebytes anti malware and super antispyware
you can download them here superanti spyware http://www.superantispyware.com/ malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ both are free and both are very good at stopping infections |

You may have a malware and you need to purge it. After this is taken care of you should get an ad blocker plugin for your browser, this will speed things up for you quite a bit.

I agree with the other people that have answered here in that you may have acquired some malware on your system, but all is not lost...
Firstly, (and I assume you are using windows XP, Vista or 7 with this answer), go to the following address and download Microsoft Security Essentials, it is free anti malware software from Microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windo...s-download Install Microsoft Security Essentials, allow it to update and then run a scan, this should remove any malware on your pc. Secondly, I recommend you install Adblock Plus. This is an add-on to your browser that prevents pop-ups and adverts from invading your browsing experience, I personally love the fact that I never have to wait for those annoying adverts prior to watching a youtube vid thanks to Adblock!. It is available for both Google Chrome and Firefox, but was initially developed for Firefox so it works better with Firefox. I will give the address for both below: Adblock Plus for Chrome: http://adblockplus.org/en/chrome Adblock Plus for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...lock-plus/ I hope this solves your problem of those pesky adverts! :o) |

You have some adware on your computer. its usually in the form of a browser extension or toolbar, so first thing to try is remove any of those you have installed.
If that doesnt work, try running some antimalware scanners such as Malwarebytes Antimalware, and SuperAntiSpyware. You should be all clear after that. Once thats clean, I recommend you install FB Purity as it will keep facebook clear from ads, and also let you filter out the junk you dont want to see on Facebook |
