Whats the best way to promote a club event outside facebook ?
I do events in my town in the midlands, I can easily promote it on Facebook as the town I live in is the size of a box, so after living here all my life I can send it to he right people and it will sell out, however, I want to take my events up a notch and start events in London.
I have been doing some market research on the event leaders in London (that specialise in the same sort of genre as me, deep, tech house, minimal and techno) however their Facebook event pages never seem to reflect their success' A lot of the market leaders, their event pages on Facebook may have 100/200 attendee's, yet their actual event will have near enough x 10 of that, with easily 1000/2000 attendee's. Now I know a lot of the market leaders in London use big named artists that can practically sell themselves, but is there anything online that the big promoters use outside Facebook ? or any tips or tricks before I tackle London ? Is most of their work done outside the internet and the just have a really good street promotion team ? Any advice would be much appreciated Thankyou* Ads |

Don't under estimate the value of passing out good old fashioned flyer's! We ended up having so much more business, just from them!

Irrespective of the way you decide to use, be prepared for a roll up much larger than you anticipate. Or
have security ready to turn away once X number is reached. Enjoy the events! |
