Advice for putting my small business on Facebook?
I own a very small local business and I want to boost recognition by creating a Facebook account. I need as much advice as I can possibly get though, so any feedback you can give me is so greatly appreciated. I do not want to have to pay for any services -- Facebook is free anyway, right? I'm looking forward to any tips and suggestions you can offer. Thanks!
I know what I want to post and such, but how can I reach out to other Facebook users? How do I gain the recognition? James, thanks so much. I noticed that apparently my business does have a facebook page, that I did not create. There is a link that says "Is this your business?" Should I revamp that page or create my own new one? What do I do? Ads |

To create a page for your business you first need a Facebook account of your own. The first step to do is create a page on facebook for your business. You do this by going to settings > create page. Fill in the details of the company so that users that find your page know about your business. You can gain "Likes" of your page 2 ways. Targeted advertising (which you have to pay for) in which you can advertise you business to certain demographics in your local area or by sharing your page on your wall, and asking your friends to do the same. If you have any more questions please contact me.
