Should I ask out a single mom over Facebook?
I went to high school with this girl on Facebook and am interested in asking her out. I never knew her in high school but I remember seeing her a lot. I knew a couple of her friends but I never shared any classes with her.
So is it right or wrong to ask her out over Facebook? And if it isn't wrong what are some ways I could do it without coming off as a creep. I don't really know her situation just that she is a single mom with a little boy (3-5 years old). I don't think the fact of her being a single parent will bother me it will just be different. I haven't really dated before and online dating hasn't gotten me anywhere so I thought I would try some nice girls that my friends knew on Facebook. Ads |

You haven't dated before? Hmmm... That's a whole other thing. But as for asking out this woman, I'd start by chatting with her, maybe asking if you can call her, get to know her a little bit. If she lives near you, just ask her to have coffee sometime. You can say that you didn't get to know her in high school, and would like to have that opportunity now. if she declines, no harm done!

The only time its acceptable to ask someone out over the phone or computer is if you never see them in person. It would be better to ask her out in person but if thats not possible then Facebook will be acceptable.

No
but beware because dating a single teen mom is way different from dating a girl without one. Theyre main focus will be to provide for their kid (hopefully) so that means youll miss a lot of stuff. Also you may have to help out with the kid. If you think you can handle that you should just message her on facebook and try to chat. Just talk to her a bit an mayb eexchange number eventually and ask her if you could take her out over the phone. |

I think you should it can't hurt to ask and maybe start a conversation with her before you ask.
