What will be the next big social media site?
A new term, 'Facebook Fatigue' has been created. This basically means that people are getting bored and/or frustrated with the site and it no longer has the following that it used to. More and more people are deactivating their accounts and less people are signing up. This is similar to when Facebook replaced MySpace.
What are your thoughts? And which site will be the new Facebook? Ads |

Hopefully real life will make a comeback and everyone will stop wasting hours if each day with their eyes fixed to a screen. I'm not holding my breath though.

Hi Emily,
I agree with you that online peeps today seems to get bored and frustrated with Facebook specially with the privacy issues. And they are looking for new sites to join in. I think Google+ (Google Plus), has the potential to be the next big thing on social media landscape and probably replace Facebook on top but of course, we won’t see that anytime soon, since Facebook is still strong with its almost 750 million users. Let's see how things are in a few months. |
