How limited are research positions for social/personality psychology specializations?
I'm hoping to be a research psychologist at a medical institution or a market research department, but I was wondering how many of these positions are actually available once one has attained his/her Ph.D?
I don't want to be a professor, but I would work at a university if there was a research position available. It'd be better to know early than late, I suppose Ads |

Extraordinarily close to dead zero. If you don't want to teach after you complete your doctoral work, you can pretty much kiss "research" goodbye.
Sorry to be the bearer of ill news. ~Dr. B.~ Ads |
