What should I do about my friend?

So my best friend started commenting on a post I put on Facebook and at first I thought he was joking but he wasn't basically he was saying that he wishes I was how I use to be that he wants his old friend back that I use to be "hardcore" and now I'm all "world peace" I haven't changed much at all its him that has changed he keeps getting more and more negative as the days go by the only things that have changed about me is that I use to be angry all the time and depressed all the time and now I'm happy all the time what should I do? We are supposed to meet up and talk to day I refuse to go back to being angry and depressed I have always accepted him for who he is
