How do you send direct messages on Twitter?

Sure!

All you have to do is type @theperson'susername and then put a space and then your message! it's that easy! Here's an example(Not my real username)

@vistahacker Hi there!

By the way, you just send this to your regular twitter number as you would a tweet update. The @username tells it what to do with the message and it will not become your status as long as you remember the space. You can also send it to more than one person at a time by putting spaces between each @username and then a space between the last @username and the message.
