Facebook help plz?Get my info away from ads!?

Yes, this happens to a lot of people. I think only you, and your facebook friends can see the ad's though. I know there is a way to turn it off, but I'm not quite sure. Im pretty sure you have to remove all of your facebook applications [the ones not made by facebook] then you go to settings >> privacy >> applications then click the settings tab then click the option "Do not share any information about me through the Facebook API" if you cant select that then you still have applications to remove, or maybe theres some that still have permissions.

I just read this in an article: try this too Go to settings, where a drop-down box will show up. Select "privacy", and then choose "newsfeed and wall." At the top of the page you'll see Facebook Ads. That's where you'll see "set appearance in Faccebook Ads" change it to "No One" and save.
