Left gas oven on at work?

I'm a teenager and Ive only used a gas oven twice in my life because I own an AGA at home.
I arrived at work at 4pm, I work in a deli which serves bakery stuff, like a cafe really. Anyway, I was baking scones in the kitchen and I turned the dial about half way and at first, it switched off so I got one of my work mates to turn it back on for me and she turned the dial over half way, anyway I could hear gas so I assumed it was on so I closed the door of the oven.

After I finished baking the scones, I took them out and closed the door, we close at 5pm so the other two staff were in a rush to leave, the girl asked me if I was finished so I said yes nearly, put the scones on a metal rack and put a tea towel over them. As I went to get my bag, she told me to shut the door behind me as we both walked out of the kitchen so I did and as I was walking home, I realised I'd left the oven switched on but I also remembered they'd shut and no one was there so I couldn't go back. I don't have a key to the place or anything nor do I have mobile numbers of the staff of manager because I've only just started working there.

I'm so terrified, I've never used a gas oven in my life and they don't open the shop again until 9am tomorrow morning.

My mums called other shops in the same area to see if they know the numbers of the staff/managers but no luck.

I've looked up their names on Facebook and twitter too, again, no luck.

I'm not in work til Tuesday now and I have no idea what to do, all I can think about is what if it blows up or something, there's nothing in the oven by the way.

What will happen? Please help I'm scared out of my mind. Thanks x
