Left gas oven on at work?

I am assuming that the oven was on and heating when you left. If so , then the worst that can happen is that gas is burnt with no harm otherwise.

If the oven was off and you turned on the gas, then a pilot lught would have ignited the gas If the pilot light was off or malfunctioning , then the gas supply would not have been allowed to continue. supplying the oven. Fail-safe gas security.

If you still have concerns , then dial 999 and ask for the fire service and they will check the security of the premises.
