I think she's interested! She seems like she was waiting for you to make the first move. You got a text from a 'friend' who's name you don't know then told her you don't give out your number. That's why she may have seemed a bit off for a couple of days.
Just because she is talking/texting other guys doesn't mean she's not interested in you, they could just be friends.
Find out, ask for her number and give her yours. Meet somewhere social though first, like with other friends or something and see how it goes.
Girls can't read minds, although we are good at pretending sometimes ;-) Let her know if you like her.
