Can you remove the likes box under the favorites tab on your facebook timeline?

You know when you click on the likes tab on timeline, and there's two boxes one that has favorites and the one that displays the past likes from previous years, is there a way to remove that box.

Is there a way to remove that box or remove those past likes that are displayed their, I removed a bunch of likes that I liked in the past, but it shows that I used to like those pages.
