French Questions , Help please?

1) Non, elle n'est pas française. Elle est américaine.
2) Et le garçon brun. Il est français?
3) Non, le garçon brun n'est pas français. Il est américain.

Basically, every time the subject is "male" (le garçon, le livre etc) you don't have to alter the adjective. However, if the subject is "female" (la fille, la table) you do have to change the adjective a bit.
Le garçon est brun, mais la fille est brune.
