Can i turn off the notifications facebook sends to my phone when im on the website?

Go to Account Settings > Mobile.

Scroll down a bit. Right below where it asks you what times should text be sent to your phone there should be a box that says to not send texts while you are on facebook. Check the box. Save preferences.
