Ohhhh, I know what's going on. The same thing happened to me when I turned 18, and even worse when I turned 21. There are so many societal expectations that you'll somehow be or feel different or more grown up and mature or whatever. Frankly, it's bloody annoying! I'm older, not different! Just because I'm 21, I have to start drinking and act like stuffed shirt with no sense of fun? Keep your stupid expectations to yourself, society!

...Ahem. Yes, he's probably thinking something like that. Watch, I bet he'll feel the same about birthdays as he always did on his 19th!
