Question about Zazzle and working at home?

You are correct in assuming that advertising 'works' .. plainly you have to tell all your friends and ask them to tell their friends ... however your big problem is that you are 'unplugged' from the social networking scene ...

"I don't Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, or any other online..."

So you KNOW what you have to do ..

'spread yourself around' .. colleges / libraries etc. and enter every competition you can find .. if you have local Camera Club / Art Club whatever join & make a name for yourself ..

If you have a particular 'theme' (portraits / landscapes / buildings) try to get COMMISSIONS - even if you are 'abstract' almost anything can be used as the basis of an advertising POSTER == go to local businesses, show examples & ask what artwork they might be interested in (even doing a 'banner' / advert for your local school fate could get you recognised ..)

You should also look to EXHIBIT your work = even if it's only in your local college canteen :-)

PS - for most of us, money comes through hard graft - for every lucky 'artist' you see hailed in the newspapers / on the TV, there are 100 others working like mad to get their name recognised / work sold ... for many, SELLING takes up more time than PAINTING ...

So don't think of Facebook etc as 'fun' == think of it as just one more task you have to do if you want to make sales ...
