Hmmm... well... it sounds perfect other than the last part. If she is in a state of depression bcuz of her loss, she most likely doesn't want u to say, "things will get better". Strange, i know. But it's true. When a loved one of mine died, I just wanted hugs and time to cry, not ppl saying it's ok or things will get better. If I were u id say, "I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through right now.. But you are in my thoughts and prayers. If there's anything u ever need, don't b afraid to ask, I'm here for u.""
Or, "I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through right now.. But you are in my thoughts and prayers." (Or just in my thots, but saying prayers is nice whether ur religious or not.) Or, "I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through right now.. But you are in my thoughts ans I'm here for u" Mayb even buy her some chocolate to give her the next time u see her. Something little and nice. But don't seem to sad around her or act like u feel to bad for her. Sometimes, that can make sum1 feel worse. Saying less is more in these situations, especially if she already has so much support from other ppl n u aren't best friends. This is rly nice of u, I hope my advice helped! Good luck, and I hope everything works out alright for ur friend <3 |
