I see what you're trying to do, but who's going to cash the check? Who takes the money to the grocery store? Who buys the clothes? Not a kid.

My wife got $80,000 from me over five years. It put food in her belly as much as it did my daughter's. It's inevitable that the ex-wife will get the bulk of the money. Mine didn't even bother working when the money was coming in, and my daughter has learned to be lazy and expect someone else to support her.
