There may be something to worry about, there may not. Jealousy is completely normal in a long distance relationship, especially when one of you gets some new friends or a new activity. I think this is only going to keep eating away at you unless you let her know that you're feeling jealous -- in general -- and this really set you off. It doesn't have to be that you're accusing her of anything, but you should let her know how you're feeling, just so she can respond to it.
You're feeling left out of her life in some way perhaps, and insecure as a result. It's bothering you, so don't hold it inside, otherwise it has the potential to turn into something bigger. This is good advice for any relationship, but in long distance relationships there can easily be a tendency to suppress feelings and table sharing them until you can see each other in person. If you bottle things up like that, it is bound to explode at some point. If you don't have webcams, get some and sign up for a free video chat site (Facebook Video Chat Rounds is a pretty good one -- http://www.rounds.com/facebook-video-chat ) Talking and texting can be expensive and can lead to more miscommunications than a face-to-face convo. Good luck. |
