Make sure your log out and clear the web browser's cache. Is this a shared computer? Get a job an buy your own or don't use the shared computer for Facebook at all. Make sure you connect to Facebook via https. It's more secure. You'll find the option under account, account settings, security. Make sure secure browsing is enabled.

Make a secure password. Chose one of the four word versions from here.

If your mother has a key logger installed then she'll get your password since everything you type will be saved someplace for her to read later.
