That can't be answered without seeing the photos. There are a number of different selection tools but it depends on the image to know which one is the BEST choice.

The pen tool is the most precise, so if you can really learn how to use that one, you will get fast and you will get the best results with it.

However, if you had - for example - a very dark subject with clean, precise edges plus a light background, then the magic wand or the quick selection tool would work well, too.

Or you could look into masking programs/plugins such as Topaz Remask or others.
