After a divorce, is it right for the ex wife to continue using your name?

It depends on the circumstances, if there are children involved then yes I think it is right for her to keep the married name, it is a difficult time for children as it is and if mummy suddenly starts going by a different name then it could make things even more difficult for them especially if other children start asking questions.

It's not technically wrong for her to carry on using the name although I don't know why (for any other reason then the kids) she would want to keep the married name, perhaps it's the convenience of keeping a name most people will know you by already?
