My cousin passed away and my aunt wants to close his Myspace & Facebook but doesn't have the password. How?

I don't think there's really a reason to. People on the friend's list can post their condolences and tributes or whatnot. But I think it should be preserved so people can look back at him. I remember a girl I went to high school with died and her friends kept logging into her MySpace posting stuff about tributes and the funeral and stuff, but I think it should have been left with her last official login date and all that.
But someone else said contact the administrators, but I seriously don't think that will work. They might think you're just trying to get his account deleted because you hate him and want to spite him, not that he died and you don't want people to do anything. I vote for it to be left alone, but the only real way you can do it is to see if he autologs in on his computer and deactivate the accounts (which require you to click a link in his email) or hack his page and email in order to do it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. |
