Why did the Syrian civil war occur? What are the opposing sides in support of?
Hey there!

I was just wondering:

1. What do the FSA and those anti Bashar al Assad want? Do they wish to install a Muslim controlled government?

2. What was wrong with Bashar al Assad and his government? Apart from the attacks on protesters.
