How to meet my Facebook crush?

Okay, I feel like a total loser asking this. I have a "crush" on a man who is a little bit famous. He isn't an actor, but he's a writer for a television show, and he's a bit "famous" on Twitter. (and we are late 30's). I have tweeted to him, and he direct messaged me once, in a very flirty manner. I requested him on Facebook, and he accepted. I have "poked" him, and he poked me back.

I would very much like to pursue more than this with him, as I am extremely attracted to him physically, and also to his sense of humor. I don't know if I should send him a message, or just wait and see if he contacts me. I am pretty sure he knows I am interested. The thing is, he is at that point in his career where he probably has tons of young women throwing themselves at him due to the "fame" and his connections with some very famous celebrities. Also, we live about 1000 miles apart. =/

Other than the obvious answer, get a life!!!, does anyone have any suggestions for me? And please be kind, I do know this is very junior high school. Please humor me.
