how do i persusde my mum to let me get facebook?

Yo, if you are 13 or older it should be alright...Facebook is nothing like Myspace and Myspace has gotten a lot of moms upset because of some of the things that happens on there... If you only add people that you know in real life, nothing should happen. And if you don't click on any adds you will not get any viruses through Facebook either. Viruses is one of the major problems with Facebook but as long as you don't click anything that you don't know what it is, you should be alright.

If you think you can do all the above just explain to your mother that Facebook isn't Myspace and all is good. If she lets you have an Email Address, Facebook is pretty much just like that except a lot bigger! It's a very good social expierence.

BUT!!! If you are under the age of 13 I would not suggest for you to have a Facebook, and you should just wait until you are older.
