What is pulse on yahoo answers?

Y! Pulse is now known as Y! Profile even though the link says View Pulse. Basically it's a way to connect your Answers account with other accounts such as Y! Messenger, Twitter, or Facebook, and if you choose to you can share updates with those other accounts. Also it allows you quick access to your Y! account settings.

Having your Y! Profile public does not effect your privacy settings on Answers; it only allows the information you have written about yourself on Y! Profile (http://profile.yahoo.com/y/edit/ ) and chosen to share to become public. You don't have to share anything personal if you don't want to. But if you hide the profile then you will not be able to have a custom avatar on Answers.
