Easy and free way to communicate with people all over the world. For example I have 2 cousins who live in Germany who before I got Facebook I hardly spoke to but now with Facebook I talk to them all the time. Tell your parents you can edit your privacy settings so that only people you accept to be your friends can view your profile and your pictures.
