How do i convince my mom to let me get a Facebook?

I am Homeschooled and i do not see my friends anymore, I want to socialize with them using Facebook which is a easier way of communicating with them; rather than trying to make plans to hang out with them in public because everyone is busy. I also want to share my photos on Facebook as a photo album and i can view it as i get older and older. Everyone that i know of has a Facebook but i do not have Facebook and i feel dumb, not having a Facebook.
