How do you basically work and use Twitter? :D?

- Following is when you 'follow' someone - when you are on Twitter, say if you like BBC News, when you are logged into Twitter, if you go to the BBC News twitter page - @BBCNews, you can click "Follow", and you'll be following their tweets - so every time they write a new message/tweet, you'll receive it in your homepage bit - a bit like when people update their facebook status.

- on Twitter, there is nothing known as a subscriber, but there are followers - people who follow you - so every time you write a tweet, those following you, will be able to see it.

- to send messages to people on twitter (which are public), you use their username. say if it were BBC News again, you'd tweet; "@BBCNews (message goes here).

- that's basically how you work it really. if you get sent a message or if someone sends a tweet to you, it will notify you.
