Any medicine available for joint pain in old age?

You need to drag her to the doctor and get it looked at. There's a whole bunch of new stuff going on for arthritis and joint pain. I understand the latest trick is to take a blood sample, spin it to separate the red blood cells, and inject them in to the joint. Acts kind of like lubricant and since it's their own blood, you don't have to worry about allergic reactions and the like. I'm gonna try my knee next month. I think. This is kind of the same principal as stem cells. If that doesn't work there's still more conventional stuff they can do.
I don't know what kind of doctors you have tried for this, but I'd like to suggest checking out a physiatrist. That's not a misspelling for a shrink. Physiatrists sort of treat the body as a whole unit. They look at stuff like vitamins deficiencies and such as well as the pain. Good luck |
