How do I stop notifications on Facebook from applications I don't use?

When you are looking at the post, in the top right hand corner of the post there is a hidden button but when you put your mouse over it the word 'Hide' appears. Click on that and pick whether you want to hide that person's feeds or just the feeds from the application! Smile

I hate them too!
