Should aspiring actors delete their facebook?

If you would be happy with what you are putting on Facebook being published in the newspaper at any time in the future, for anyone to see, then put it there. You have no control over who sees it and who shares it. Every word you write is on record permanently and can be tracked using technology cleverly. Employers are now searching Facebook to get an alternative view of potential employees.

I would suggest that you use Facebook with care and as a tool for your career networking, bearing in mind the above. It is hard to totally disregard it as a social networking device. Aspiring acctors need to be constantly in touch with what other actors are doing, auditioning for etc. etc.
