think of why you're better off without him. make a list of all the ways your life was good until he smashed his way back in. also if you feel like texting him or what ever, distract yourself for twenty or thirty minutes by like watching tv or something and then by that point you'll realize it was just an impulse and that you don't really need him. my friend does this (i never tried it...) but she wears a rubber band and snaps it whenever she thought of him. it worked for her lol
