breaking up is never fun, so i hope you feel better. i recently broke up with a boyfriend whom i was with for a year. it was incredibly difficult, seeing as we were in love but it ended up being to stressful and eventually the feelings fizzled out. it's incredibly hard to forget the good memories, but you have to keep in mind that the relationship wasn't working, or else you'd still be together. and also keep in mind that even if you were to get back with this guy, all the reasons you broke up in the first place would still be there. clearly he's moved on, which means it's time for you to move on as well. here are a couple tips that i hope you find useful.

COMPLETELY block him out of your life. no matter how difficult it seems, or how much he tries to get in contact with you, you have to stay strong. maybe in the future you two will be able to have a decent relationship. but for the time being block him on face book and ignore everything he says to you. it may be tempting to talk to him, but remember that once you do. you're losing all the progress you've made.

going out with your friends is the best way to forget about an ex. continue to look for new and exciting things to do and to keep your mind occupied. don't be afraid to reach out to a friend and talk things over, as that can be helpful too.

lastly, as stupid as this may sound, keep a journal. sometimes writing out your feelings is the best way to come to terms with them.
