every one is different. he could be thinking any number of thing depending on his personality but i personally dont think thats your job to figure out. I like the phrase "what other people think of me is out of my control and none of my business" and in saying that the only thing that matters is that You like Him and How he makes you Feel.

Big tip. Dont let him pressure u into anything u dont want to do. This should always be the big deal breaker because it shows his intentions are not the same as yours.
