because if it isnt directly infront of their perfect little face they think they dont have to worry about it and it will go away and be all nice for them. You can sit and worry about issues that affect society and try to do things about them but I guess its upto themreally. What I hate is when celebrity people try to lecture you on caring and how bad poverty is or the state of the environment and then drive around to their performances in their huge celeb pimp wagons like U2 with 300 massive trucks carrying their huge stage equipment.
