People probably are too self obsessed.

What that's actually got to do with religion or the lack of it I have no idea. Morality and common sense do not flow from religion since religions are without exception the product of humans and almost by definition that means someone somewhere is getting rich, or powerful, or both on the back of it.

I contemplate. I have been known to meditate. I neither desire nor require belief in any deity to achieve total calmness and I find it strange that anyone actually would.
