How to become a better bejeweled player?

My high score for this week is 131,900. My suggestion is play a ridiculous amount (AKA WASTE TIME) and it gets easier.
Additionally, make a point to go quickly, because speed bonuses rock at pumping up a score. Another suggestion is make sure to get those 2x, 3x, 4x, etc. blocks, which you get from getting mega combos. Those are easiest to get when you use power blocks, so if you take even an extra nanosecond to see if you could create 4 in a row instead of just 3, it works wonders in the long run.

Also, if you get 5 in a row and get a hyperblock, look around and see which not only which color is most prevelant, but additionally which one has the most power blocks, which will cause more explosions, gaining you more points.
