technically it is...i think you need some type of permit for something like that...it's like doing hair out of your house...you can get away with it...but if anything were to happen to any of the guest, it could fall back on you....if i were u i'd only do business with the people that u know and trust for now, put everything in writing...
ur basement sounds pretty kick-ass, if u get the proper permit, i'm sure u could make even more money!

...oh and i'd totally have a kids party there,...just keep the payments under the radar.
