From what i know, your partner may feel uncomfortable knowing that you can send messages and talk to people without them knowing. Your partner may think that you may be cheating on them through facebook, and it makes the suspicion even worse when you do not tell them your password. I dont think she would delete friends or change your account by sending messages etc. but if she truly thinks you are cheating she might
