The more you refuse her her own growth and individuality the more she will push. While I don't believe in permitting atheism I would explore why she doesn't believe in God. Many children confuse God with Santa Claus and when God doesn't deliver they think God isn't real. Personally my parents didn't force religion on me, and while I did stray from the path before me I wasn't atheist. It took me years to return to God but since I did my life has been far richer. I know that if I would have been denied that freedom I would have been much worse.As for denying her her I-touch she may go out and steal one, or worse to compensate for what she interprets as you're not loving her and punishing her for having her own opinions.She may even decide not to share anything with you. As painful as being a parent can be, we need to show our children that we love them no matter what.I hate to admit it but even Hitler had parents/step-parents.
