What was the last thing you had bad conscience about?

I have a very bad conscience about something i did when i was only 4 years old. i stole some toy cars off a wee lad and i remember him running home crying. Although it was many years ago i still hate myself and i still cry sometimes when i think about it. I have told psychiatrists and psychologists but i don't think people realise how much i have suffered because of it. Most people maybe don't think i committed a major crime but it was serious to me. i have never been able to steal anything since then and i still worry about little kids. i wish i could go back in time and put things right. people say god forgives people their sins but i will never forgive myself. never
