How do I get more followers on twitter? I think my tweets are funny and want people to read them.?

Most of the more popular twitter feeds gain the popularity because they have a front end to advertise on. Try expanding your audience. Put your twitter link in YouTube Videos (Your video not somebody elses comments) or in any other social media content (MySpace, FaceBook, Justin.tv, etc...)

This will show a large audience your stuff and hopefully get you some more followers.
