If you really like this girl then do all you can to make contact with her. It seems to me you have hurt her feelings from what you have said to her. So, exhaust all means to get in touch with her and apologize. Write her a letter in her student e-mail and try to convince her that you really miss her a lot. If all else fails, then that is the time to say to yourself that you pissed her off.
