Fellow Atheists, how would you react if your Christian relative posted this on Facebook?

I've learned to ignore the ignorant rantings of my irrational god-believing relatives, even though they insist on imposing them on people they know think it's nonsense.

My father, an agnostic, died a few years ago. He told me many times he didn't want any ridiculous church funeral, didn't want anybody praying that he'd be "saved," and simply wanted to be cremated and have his ashes scattered up at his favorite spot in the mountains.

I took care of the cremation, then the theist relatives started to butt in. They wanted to have a full-blown church funeral for him...I told them he wouldn't be caught dead in their church, and then knew that, so it wasn't going to happen. Then they insisted they bring a huge group up to the mountains, and have a prayer service before the ashes were scattered. I told them they could come, but no prayer service, no church officials, none of that stuff. They agreed. When we got up there, guess what -- they grabbed the ashes from me, formed a circle around them, and started their little prayer service. By then I'd had enough, so I pushed through, picked up the ashes, told them all they were a bunch of dishonest liars and that they should piss off, and walked away.

So, um, sorry to rant...but they demand "respect" but never give it. I usually ignore them, but sometimes they're just so damn pushy it can't be tolerated any more.
