How do you determine relative basicity of molecules?

is the question asking about acidity or basicity? because it appears that you have a bunch of acids and not bases listed
the way you analyze the acidity is to draw the conjugate base of each acid, and then analyze which is most stable due to resonance, electronegativity, inductive effect of neighboring atoms and so on the more stable the conjugate base, the weaker it is, the strong it's original acid the less stable the formed conjugate base, the stronger it is, the weaker the acid it came from If you found this helpful, please give me a 'like' on facebook http://facebook.com/leah4sci Ads |
