Mention trends in your tweets. Things like #bepositive and #duncansdream get you more followers. Just write as I have above in your tweet, and anybody else that uses the same trends will see your tweet in the list. You can get a huge amount of followers just from tweeting some of the top trends. Look down the right side of your twitter page to find out what are the hottest trends and mention these.
